Yes, I received the motor and yes it is currently working fine after I installed it... I do hope it continues to work for many years..My problem is that by the time the motor had arrived in Canada it had cost me over $150.00 CDN... The motor sells for between $15.00 and $20.00 US... on the internet...

One of the two motors burned out on my winder. I was very happy to find out that replacement motors were available. The new motor is a bit different than the original (the original did not have the mounting "ears" on the motor casing and mounted through the casing itself - so the mount posts have a different spacing and could not be used with the "ears") thus requiring removal of two motor casing screws which hold the clamshell casing together and drilling these out so the backboard mount posts could fit through. Attached with the OEM nuts on the posts, and viola! Winder is working again.
